A little bit about me

I am a New York based singer-songwriter who has been teaching music for over 10 years, and practicing Music Therapy for the past decade. I’ve studied voice since the age of 8; it is something that fills my life with meaning and allows me the full expression of my self. Through the years I’ve learned to play various instruments - from piano to guitar, ukulele, bass, and percussion - all to help improve my voice and allow me the opportunity to accompany myself and become a self-sufficient musician. Through my experiences in studying music, performing, writing, and teaching, I believe music has provided me with an outlet for self-expression: a way to increase my confidence, relieve stress, and hone in on a skillset that has helped in other facets of my life.

As a Berklee College of Music graduate and a music therapist, I’ve worked with populations ranging from typically developing children, adults in hospice, people with physical and cognitive disabilities, and those diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders. I’ve worked in several medical and school settings, including Mclean Psychiatric Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation, many nursing homes and assisted-living facilities, hospice, and schools for children with special needs.

I love sharing my passion of music with others, and providing those in need with a way to reach goals that are not necessarily music related.
